Working to achieve a positive outcome that allows you to move on in your life.

I am happy to provide initial advice. In most cases, even urgent matters such as your need to see your children after separating when contact is being withheld, can be dealt with through mediation or collaboration. I can help you plan what approach is going to work in your particular situation.

Family and other disputes can become time-consuming and costly to resolve, particularly if court proceedings are filed. Mediation enables your issues to be identified quickly and finalised in a dignified manner with you in control of the process.

Collaborative law.

This is a new approach to resolving disputes which involves you working together with your lawyer and the other party and their lawyer in a respectful and future focused way, without using the court process. You have the benefit of the support and guidance of your lawyer throughout the process. You are encouraged to be mindful of the impact of your separation on your children and to make decisions which enable you to plan for your and the children’s future. Both lawyers are there to help you through to resolution and not to take the case to court.
